Orange County League of Conservation Voters
The Orange County League of Conservation Voters is the political arm of the Orange County environmental movement and supports local candidates, initiatives, and referendums in Orange County.
And a special thank you to a bequest from the estate of Larry Porter
Larry Porter was a local activist, born and raised in Newport Beach. He was a sailor dedicated to cleaning and protecting the ocean. Larry fought the waiver allowing continued discharges from the Sewage Treatment into the ocean off Huntington Beach and was Vice President of Residents for Responsible Desal.
He was an outspoken challenger to business as usual, while attending many water agency meetings and encouraging others to go and speak up as he always did.
We will not forget Larry. His spirit and generosity live on in the work we do.
